In line with the University’s strategic priorities, DISIA considers the valorisation of intellectual output and technology transfer to be fundamental pillars for promoting the cultural, social, and economic development of the local area, transforming research findings into tangible value for society.
The Department’s scientific output includes articles published in academic journals and scholarly monographs, which are essential tools for fostering, strengthening, and disseminating critical debate within the national and international academic community.
At the request of its staff, DISIA publishes the DISIA Working Papers and maintains the FLORE Publications Registry, the University’s institutional infrastructure for mapping, validating, and ensuring transparent access to the full body of scientific work produced by the Department’s faculty and researchers. This tool ensures the continuous monitoring of quality standards and the assessment of research impact.
FLOrence REsearch is the University of Florence’s institutional open-access repository. It collects, documents, and preserves information on the University’s scientific output and serves as its official Research Registry.
